Model 9621 GENT Undercut Opener

The GENT Undercut Opener is designed specifically for John Deere frames, converting worn-out single disc openers or replacing 1860–1890 and 1895 single disc openers. Reuse your existing JD frame, cast frame mount, and spring assembly — or accommodate hydraulic cylinders — while gaining the benefits of K-Hart's patented undercut disc technology.

GENT Undercut Opener Model 9621

Using angled offset discs, the GENT creates a low-disturbance seed trench that places seed under a soil flap, allowing soil to fall back naturally into place. The angled seed trench prevents seed bounce and maintains seedbed moisture.
